The famous Little Three Mine, located in Ramona, San Diego County, California has a rich history dating back to 1902. Legend has it that three men discovered the mine when they went searching for a lost cow and found gems on the ground. They purchased the land and the mine was named after them. The Little Three Mine was renowned for producing some of the world's highest quality blue topaz and orange spessartine garnet along with a variety of other gems and minerals that can be viewed at the Smithsonian and Natural History museums. In 2022, The Gregory Family acquired the mine from the Spauldings with the excitement of reigniting it's potential, aiming to uncover the valuable gems it once produced and bring new life to its storied history.
